Advanced periodontal treatments, including bone grafts, dental implants, and laser procedures
Our Periodontal Services
If you have lost bone tissue after losing teeth or because of aging, Dr. Lee may perform a bone graft. Grafting procedures will replace missing tissue and strengthen the jaw. We can use autogenous grafts, allografts, and xenografts to replace lost bone and prepare the site for dental implants or natural healing. Dr. Lee uses the latest techniques to ensure optimal results with all types of grafting and tissue regeneration procedures.
Osseous surgery is suitable for patients who have moderate or advanced periodontal disease that has not responded to other periodontal treatments. It is also known as “flap surgery” because it involves lifting away a flap of tissue before cleaning and smoothing out the infected areas. We will trim and re-shape the gums before placing stitches and then leave the gums to heal. This can be an effective treatment for reducing periodontal pockets and restoring gum health—even after severe gum disease.
